Florida's First Snow Park

Who said Florida never snows! COVID-19 has forced our world to slow down. Many places of entertainment including parks like Disney World and Universal Orlando had to close until further notice. Even some major construction project was on pause, but there are some things still in the works we can look forward to. Florida’s very own snow park still have plans to open in November of 2020.

The project is called Snowcat Ridge and will feature a large snow tubing hill standing 60ft tall and 400ft long with a “magic carpet” that will reset you back at the top of the hill. Visitors can also enjoy 10,000 square-feet of dome space where guests can build snowmen or play other activities with real snow. Creative director Mark Bremer said, “Some folks think it’s impossible to experience snow tubing and the joy of snow in Florida, but our team is all about making the impossible possible.”

If this wasn’t enough the park will also feature a light show on the snow hill and inside the doom during the evenings while you are relaxing and sipping some hot chocolate. So be on the look out for this amazing new Winter Wonderland coming near you in Dade City Florida.
